NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding,
waiting in those lengths of High Street and Scot Lane in the
City of Doncaster District, prohibit the right turn manoeuvre
from Priory Place and St Sepulchre Gate and suspend the One
Way Orders/Introduce a temporary weight restriction as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst carriageway maintenance work is being
undertaken
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

the effect will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding in that
