Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 17th September 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GRAFTON STREET (PART), BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2461)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake telecoms works:
Grafton Street, Bradwell – Its northbound carriageway from its junction with Dansteed Way to its junction with Walgrave Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way, Saxon Street and Monks Way.
The closures will be in effect from 28th – 30th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PETWORTH, GREAT HOLM) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2485)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Petworth, Great Holm – from its junction with Holyrood to its junction with Swallowfield.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Holyrood, Highgrove Hill and Kensington Drive (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 28th – 30th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BOOKER AVENUE, BRADWELL COMMON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2479)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Booker Avenue, Bradwell Common – between numbers 24 and 30.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Stokenchurch Place and Ibstone Avenue (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 28th September – 1st October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHERITON, FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2478)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Cheriton, Furzton – between numbers 2 and 8.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 29th September – 1st October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DALVINA PLACE, HODGE LEA) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2475)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Dalvina Place, Hodge Lea – between numbers 3 and 6.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 30th September – 2nd October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WOODRUSH CLOSE, BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2477)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Woodrush Close, Beanhill – between numbers 3 and 12.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 30th September – 2nd October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 15th September 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DARNEL CLOSE, BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2460)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Darnel Close, Beanhill – from outside number 1 to outside number 8.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route).
The closures will be in effect from 21st – 24th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DUNSTER COURT, FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2462)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Dunster Court, Furzton – from outside number 5 to outside number 11.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route).
The road closure will be in effect from 23rd – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
