HORSLEYGATE ROAD, HOLMESFIELD
WHEN: 05 October to 18 October 2026
WHERE: Horsleygate Road, Holmesfield from the Jct. with Owler Bar Interchange to the Jct. with Fox Lane.
REASON: To facilitate drainage and carriageway remedial works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Horsleygate Road, Cordwell Lane, New Road, Bradley Lane, Valley
Road, Millcross Lane, Hackney Lane, Main Road, Barlow Road, Cutthorpe Road, School Hill, South Terrace, B6050, Top Lane, A619 Baslow Road / Chesterfield Road, A621 Sheffield Road, A621, Owler Bar Interchange and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
