What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CROMFORD ROAD, LANGLEY MILL
WHEN: 05 October to 06 October 2026 (between 19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Cromford Road, Langley Mill, from Jct. of Campbell Street for approx. 85m north.
REASON: To facilitate the repair / replacement of damaged manhole cover and frame.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cromford Road, A610, A608, Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
