(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
Nightingale Crescent, Bracknell in both directions from the junction of Harmans Water Road and Firlands
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Harmans Water Road, Nightingale Crescent and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Cadent Gas carry out essential gas works and replay and transfer services
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 28th September 2026 its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between from the 28th September – 12th October 2026.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
