Ramsey - Proposed Pedestrian Zone with Vehicle Access Restrictions

(Great Whyte, Ramsey) (Pedestrian Zone) Order 202-
Notice is hereby given that Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Traffic Management Act 2004.
The effect of this Order will be to introduce a Pedestrian Zone on Great Whyte, Ramsey on the northeastern arm of Great Whyte at a point approximately 6 metres east of its junction with New Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 57.5m. The Pedestrian Zone will be in operation on all days between the hours of 8am and 6pm and will prohibit access to all vehicles within the zone in those hours.
This proposal has been requested by Huntingdonshire District Council as part of its Ramsey Great Whyte town centre improvement scheme.
