Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Penfro yn bwriadu, nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.

Mae’r gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol fel y gellir gwneud gwaith gosod ceblau telathrebu o dan ac uwchben y ddaear.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro yr holl draffig cerbydol heblaw am gerbydau esempt rhag mynd ar hyd y rhan honno o’r ffordd ddiddosbarth (yr U3079) ger Mathri – o’i chyffordd â ffordd yr C3017 o Fathri i Abercastell, i’r gogledd-ddwyrain i bwynt ger yr eiddo o’r enw Felin Dwarch.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion ffyrdd, yn dod i rym ddydd Iau 8 Hydref 2026 am ryw saith niwrnod gwaith rhwng 9.30am a 3.30pm.

Ymgymerir â’r gwaith hwn bob yn dipyn ar raglen dreigl er mwyn tarfu cyn lleied â phosibl. Y llwybr amgen i draffig fydd ar hyd ffordd yr C3017 o Abercastell i Fathri heibio bwthyn Cross House, ffordd yr C3113 sy’n arwain i gefnffordd yr A487 ar hyd Bryn Eirin, cefnffordd yr A487 o Dyddewi i Abergwaun, ffordd yr U3136 sy’n arwain tuag at Dremarchog heibio Preseli Venture a ffordd yr U3079.

Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen aildrefnu’r gwaith neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.

THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (UNCLASSIFIED (U3079) ROAD NR MATHRY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The proposed Order is necessary so that telecom underground and overhead cabling works can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of Unclassified (U3079) road nr Mathry – from its junction with the C3017 Mathry to Abercastle road, northeast to a point near the property known as Felin Dwarch.

It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Thursday 8th October 2026 for approximately 7 working days between 09:30hrs–15:30hrs.

These works will be carried out in stages, on a rolling programme to minimise disruption. The alternative route for traffic will be via C3017 Abercastle to Mathry road via Cross House Cottage, C3113 road leading to A487 via Bryn Eirin, A487 St Davids to Fishguard road, U3136 road leading towards St Nicholas via Preseli Venture and U3079.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
