NOTICE OF MAKING

WEST OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) NO.1 ORDER 2021 (VARIATION) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that on the 9th of September 2026 West Oxfordshire District Council made the above Order under sections 32, 33, 35 and Schedule 9 (Part IV) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and all other enabling powers and after consulting with the Chief Officer of Police.

TITLE – West Oxfordshire District Council (Off Street Parking Places) No.1 Order 2021 (Variation) (No.2) Order 2026

The effect of the order will be to vary the West Oxfordshire District Council (Off Street Parking Places) No.1 Order 2021 as follows:

  1. Add the Kilkenny car park, BRIZE NORTON to the Parking Order.

The Order will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

This variation order will come into effect: 18th September 2026.

A copy of the Order may be seen/obtained free of charge at Customer Services, West Oxfordshire District Council, 3 Welch Way, Witney OX28 6JH from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, may be requested via email parking@westoxon.gov.uk or viewed online at www.westoxon.gov.uk (Details may not be posted on the website until after this notice is issued; if you cannot find the relevant details, please try again the next day).

If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or that of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
