(Tormarton Road, Old Sodbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Tormarton Road which extends from a point 450m south east of A46 south eastwards for 450m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with pole clear works. The order became operative from 21 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.
Alternative route: A46, Acton Turville Road and vice versa.

(Bilsham Lane, Pilning) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Bilsham Lane which extends from Northwick Road north eastwards for 50m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with duct laying works. The order became operative from 21 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration. Alternative route: Bilsham Lane, Ingst Hill, Ingst Road, Aust Road, Main Road, Severn Road, Northwick Road and vice versa.

(Old Down Road, Badminton) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Old Down Road which extends from Malmesbury Road northwards thence eastwards for 885m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with cabling works. The order became operative from 21 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 4 days duration, between 9:30am and 3:30pm. Alternative route: Old Down Road (parts unaffected), Station Road, Badminton Road, Sodbury Road, Old Sodbury Road, Malmesbury Road and vice versa.

(B4060 High Street and Broad Street, Chipping Sodbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, pedal cycles and equestrians the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon surfacing and lining works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 21 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closures however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 nights duration, between 8pm and 6am. (Eggshill Lane, Yate) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Eggshill Lane which extends from A432 Station Road to Chatterton Road. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with new gas main construction works. The order became operative from 21 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with cabling works. The order became operative from 22 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with duct laying works. The order became operative from 22 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Hodden Lane which extends from a point 117m east of Abson Road eastwards for 43m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon defect rectification works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 23 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 days duration. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with telecom ducting works. The order became operative from 25 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon burst driven mains renewal works on or adjacent to the highway. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon water manifold replacement works. The order will be operative from 13 October 2026 for a maximum period of six months.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon new electric connection works. The order will be operative from 14 October 2026 for a maximum period of six months.
