Public Notice - The Bromley (On Street Parking Places) - (Chislehurst Area) 2012 (Amendment No. 301) Order 2026 - The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) 2004 - Amendment No. 301) Order 2026 - (Royal Parade, Chislehurst And Pope Road, Bromley) - T807

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY on 10th September 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026.

The Effects Of These Orders Would Be To; -
(a) remove the existing pay by phone bays outside of Nos. 1 – 4a Royal Parade, on the southwestern kerb line as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with what already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.

(b) reduce the length of an existing resident permit holder only bay, from 6.6 metres to 4.5 metres outside No.2 Pope Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

Copies of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

2-hour maximum, no return within 1 hour Monday – Saturday operating 8:30am –6:30pm and Excl Bank Hols: -

ROYAL PARADE, Chislehurst
(a) south-west side
(i) from a point 4.2 metres southeast of the northwestern flank wall of No. 1 Royal Parade to a point 2.5m northwest of the western kerb line of Royal Parade Mews.

BEYOND CPZ AREA - PARKING PLACES
DESIGNATED PARKING PLACE

POPE ROAD, BROMLEY,
(a) the south-east side
(i) from a point 4.1 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 2a in a north easterly direction for a distance of 4.5 metres
