(HELLIDON ROAD, CHARWELTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hellidon Road, Charwelton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hellidon Road, Charwelton from the junction of A361 to Steppington Farm.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during meter maintenance.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A361, Boddington Road, Priors Marston Road, Byfield Road and Hellidon Road.

(POETS WAY, NEWNHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Poets Way, Newnham as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Poets Way, Newnham from the junction with A45.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to water main.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Poets Way and Weedon Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Fawsley Road, Everdon as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Fawsley Road, Everdon from Newnham Road to Preston Capes Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works and carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
