THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
Public Notice - The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 - (Amendment No. 312) Order 2026 - Beck Lane, Beckenham) - T730

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY on 10th September 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026.

The effect of the Order would be to introduce new no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Copies of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE:-
WAITING RESTRICTIONS:
No Waiting ‘at any time’:-

BECK LANE, Beckenham,
(a) the south-west and north-west side
(i) from a point 3.7 metres south-east of the south-eastern building line of No. 16 Central Terrace, Beck Lane in a south-easterly and south-westerly direction to a point 0.4 metres south-west of the north-eastern building line of No. 38 Beck Lane.

(b) the north-east and east side
(i) from a point 0.9 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 17 and 18 Central Terrace, Beck Lane in a south-easterly and southerly direction to a point 1.1 metre north-east of the property boundary of Nos. 9 and 10 Central Terrace, Beck Lane.

(c) the north-east, north and north-west side
(i) from a point 9.8 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 35 Beck Lane to a point 6.4 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 14 Central Terrace, Beck Lane.

(d) the south-west and south side
(i) from a point 2 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of No. 35 Beck Lane to a point 1 metre south-east of the north-western building line of No. 12 Central Terrace, Beck Lane.
