Order made: To close that part of B4551 Bromsgrove Rd from its junction with U20622 Poplar Ln to its junction with C2002 St. Kenelms Rd.

Reason: Manhole cover replacement by STW.

Alternative route: B4551 Bromsgrove Rd (part), B4551 Money Ln, A491 Sandy Ln, A491 Stourbridge Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Hagley Causeway into Dudley, B4551 Bromsgrove Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 20 September 2026.

(U21402 Mearse Lane, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21402 Mearse Ln from its junction with C2151 Brookhouse Rd to its junction with U21412 Plymouth Rd.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2151 Brookhouse Rd, C2151 Shepley Rd, U21411 Twatling Rd, U21412 Plymouth Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 13 October 2026.

(U23001 Cofton Church Lane, Cofton Hackett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U23001 Cofton Church Ln from a point 916 metres northeast of its junction with B4120 Kendal End Road for a distance of 145 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Bridgework inspection by Network Rail.

Alternative route: No diversion available.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (22:00-06:00). Commencing: 20 September 2026.

(C2158 Netherwood Lane & C2158 Church Lane, Crowle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of 1. C2158 Netherwood Ln from its junction with C2158 Church Ln for a distance of 157 metres in an easterly direction. 2. C2158 Church Ln from its junction with U42211 Church Rd to its junction with C2158 Netherwood Ln.

Reason: Railway maintenance by Network Rail.

Alternative route: C2158 Church Ln (part), C2076 Newland Rd to Plough Ln, U42212 Skergens Ln, C2077 Trench Ln, C2032 Lower Crowle Rd to Snaffland Cross, C2032 Old Turnpike Rd, C2158 Netherwood Ln (part) and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U42000 Hollowfields Rd from its junction with B4090 Droitwich Rd for a distance of 250 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: No diversion possible as both routes are going through fords.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 12 October 2026.

(U21425 Redhill Lane, Chadwich) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U21425 Redhill Ln from its junction with U21425 Birmingham Rd to its junction with Redhill Ln, Chadwick Farm and Grange (private road).

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by WCC.

Alternative route: U21425 Birmingham Rd, U21423 Alvechurch Highway, U21426 Beacon Ln, U21426 Beacon Hill, U21438 Whetty Ln, C2058 Whettybridge Rd, U21425 Holywell Ln and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2002 St Kenelms Pass from its junction with C2002 Clatterbach Ln to its junction with C2002 Walton Hill Ln.

Reason: Tree maintenance by WCC.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(District of Wychavon – Droitwich Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on New Chawson Lane, Colford Close & Westbury Avenue, Droitwich]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Droitwich:-

New Chawson Lane (Both sides): From its junction with Ombersley Way for 22 metres in a south westerly direction.

West side: From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Oakleigh Road for 59 metres in a north easterly direction.

East side: From a point 59 metres northeast of its junction with Barns Croft Way for 42 metres in a north easterly direction.

Colford Close (South side): From a point 10 metres east of its junction with New Chawson Lane to its junction with Westbury Avenue.

Westbury Avenue (Southwest side): From its junction with Colford Close for 30 metres in a southeasterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
