Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the south to north cul-de-sac arm of Bagshot Green (D506) Bagshot that serves the properties No.22 to No.28A. Alternative Route: Bagshot Green. 

This Order is required to facilitate mains water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 September 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will no other access through the closure and all traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. 

The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Stonehill Road (D42) Chobham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Stonehill Road (D42) Chobham as extends from its junction with (D40) Gracious Pond Road to its junction with (X3077) Dunstall Green. 

Alternative Route: Gracious Pond Road, Mincing Lane, (A319) Chertsey Road, Old Chertsey Road, and Stonehill Road. 

This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Morrison Telecom Services Ltd. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

London Road (A30) Camberley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of London Road (A30) Camberley as extends from its junction with (D3509) Gibbet Lane to its junction with (D3402) Kings Ride. 

Alternative Route: (1) (Night works diversion route); (A30) London Road, (B3411) Frimley Road, (A325) Portsmouth Road, and (A30) London Road, or this route in reverse; (2) (Day works diversion routes); (A30) London Road, (A327) Minley Road, (A327) Summit Avenue, (A327) Ively Road, (A327) Elles Road, Meudon Avenue, (A325) Farnborough Road, (A325) Portsmouth Road, and (A30) London Road; (3) (A30) London Road, (A325) Portsmouth Road, (B3411) Frimley Road, and (A30) London Road. 

This Order is required to facilitate pre-patching, and surface dressing works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 phases, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access for residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained when and if it is safe to do so, access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site. All other traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Prior Road (D3489) Camberley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Prior Road (D3489) Camberley.

Alternative route – A325 (Portsmouth Road), B3015 (The Maultway) and B311 (Upper Chobham Road), or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. 

Access for cyclists will not be maintained and cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
