Public Notice - The Bromley (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) - Order 2023 (Amendment No. 301) Order 2026 - The Bromley (Parking Places) Order 2005 - (Amendment No. 301) Order 2026 - The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) - Order 2004 (Amendment No. 302) Order 2026 - (High Street, Bromley) - T844

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY on 10th September 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026.

The Effect Of The Orders Would Be To: -
(a) introduce a new ‘Disabled Person Parking Bay’ operating ‘at any time’ restrictions outside of Ravensleigh House, as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(b) convert part of the existing ‘Pay by Phone’ bay to an ‘Ambulance’ Bay operating ‘Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm near the junction of Westmoreland Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) amend the existing length of the ‘Pay by Phone’ bays as set out in Schedule 3 to this Notice

This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with what already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.

Copies of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1:-
DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAY
‘At Any Time’:-

HIGH STREET, BROMLEY, the west side, from a point 13.2m south of a point opposite the southern wall of No 2 High Street Bromley southwards for a distance of 6.7m.

SCHEDULE 2:-
AMBULANCE ONLY PARKING BAY
‘Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm’:-

HIGH STREET, BROMLEY, the west side, from a point 21.1m north of the northern kerb line of Westmoreland Road, northwards for a distance of 7.5m.

SCHEDULE 3:-
PAY BY PHONE BAY
2-hour maximum, no return within 1 hour ‘Monday to Saturday, 8:30am - 6:30pm and Sun 10:00am – 5:00pm and Excl Bank Hols

HIGH STREET, BROMLEY, the west side, from a point 28.6m north of the northern kerb line of Westmoreland Road northwards to a point 19.9m south of southern wall of No 2 High Street Bromley.
