London Borough of Southwark - Macks Road - temporary relocation of disabled bays, temporary suspension of permit parking bays

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (MACKS ROAD)

(TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF DISABLED BAYS, TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PERMIT PARKING BAYS)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to allow maintenance works, it intends to make an order, the effect of which will be to temporarily relocate two disabled bays on Macks Road.

2. Two disabled bays outside 25 to 29 Macks Road will be temporarily suspended and relocated to allow use of the road space for a nature project. Two disabled bays will be temporarily created on Macks Road, between Painters Mews and Alexis Street on the west side of the road.

3. When road markings are in place, only vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons badge may park a vehicle within 2 disabled bays located on Macks Road, between Painters Mews and Alexis Street.  Two permit parking bays will be temporarily removed to allow the disabled bays to be relocated.

4. The temporary traffic order will be in operation from the 29th of September 2026 until the 28th of February 2027 or until works are completed.
