THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 

(SOUTH STREET, SHEEPWASH) ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 22/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 29/9/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: SOUTH STREET, SHEEPWASH.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -East Street, Road From Patchel Cross To East Street, Road From Patchel Cross To Ash Cross, Road From Ash Cross Past Aish Lodge, Road From Aish Lodge To Friars Hele Cross, Road Past Hele Bridge, Hatherleigh By Pass, Holsworthy Road, Road From Holsworthy Bridge To Holsworthy Road, Road From Venton Cross To Holsworthy Bridge, Road From Highampton Cross To Venton Cross, Road From Sheepwash Bridge To Highampton Cross, Road From Sheepwash Bridge To Higher Lewer Farm, South Street &Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: 2 JOINT HOLES IN CONCRETE FOOTWAY & TARMAC ROAD FOR SUPPLY ALTERATION.
