SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BCTOW/3, BATHWICK HILL, BATH) (NO.2)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to temporarily close the section of Public Footpath BCTOW/3 commencing from a junction with Bathwick Hill at ST75816491 and proceeding in a generally S direction for approx 437m to ST75786448.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out resurfacing works. The Order will come into force on 24th September 2026 and will be effective until 9th October 2026.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bathwick Hill – Pulteney Road – Pulteney Gardens. Vice Versa.
