What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE UNNAMED ROAD FROM MARLPIT LANE TO JAMES LANE, SUTTON ON THE HILL
WHEN: 03 October to 07 October 2026 (08:00 to 18:00).
WHERE: Unnamed Road from Marlpit Lane to James Lane, Sutton on the Hill between James Lane and Marlpit Lane.
REASON: To facilitate blockage repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Unnamed Road from Marlpit Lane to James Lane, James Lane, Commonpiece Lane, Dickinsons Lane, Marlpit Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re- open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
