What is happening?
The North Ayrshire Council
(River Irvine Footpath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made under Section 14(1) of the, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful to for any person(s) (with the exception of those engaged in River Irvine Footpath Upgrade Works and Emergency Service Personnel on the River Irvine Footpath from B7080 Ling Drive to B730 Holmsford Bridge by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near that footpath.
The Order will be in operation from 8.00am 7th September 2026 to 11.59pm 7th September 2027 until such time as the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
