What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A515 STATION STREET, ASHBOURNE EAST BOUND CLOSURE ONLY
WHEN: 05 October to 09 October 2026
WHERE: A515 Station Street, Ashbourne east bound closure only between No. 34 and Compton Social Club.
REASON: To facilitate fibre cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road, Church Street, St John Street, Park Road, Sturston Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
