RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Ffordd y Maer, Pwllheli yn ei gyfanrwydd.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar gyfer gwaith ailwynebu.
Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad gorllewinol ar Lôn Abererch yna troi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda Y Traeth. Dilyn y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad deheuol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 19eg o Hydref 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 5 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS FFORDD Y MAER, PWLLHELI)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Ffordd y Maer, Pwllheli in its entirety.
The Order is necessary for resurfacing works.
The alternative route is to travel westerly on Lôn Abererch then turn left at the junction with Sand Street. Follow this road in a southerly direction up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 19th of October, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 5 days.
