NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Manchester Road, Wilmslow
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Manchester Road, Wilmslow – For the full extent
The alternative route will be via Dean Row Road, Dean Row Road Roundabout, Dean Row Link, Dean Row Roundabout, Maclean Way, Bollin Valley Roundabout, Bollin Valley Link, Manchester Road Roundabout vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 5th October 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 29th March 2027.
