(MAIN STREET AND SHARP’S CLOSE, THE BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY AND BOSWORTH) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (MAIN STREET AND SHARP’S CLOSE, THORNTON) (AMENDMENT 36) ORDER 202

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:

To impose no waiting at any time restrictions on parts of Main Street and Sharp’s Close, Thornton

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Hinckley Hub, Rugby Road. Hinckley LE10 0FR and on the Notice Board of Bagworth & Thornton Parish Council

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 7th October 2026, quoting reference KJ/HTWMT/6247.
