Roads Surrounding Luton Runfest - Temporary Road Closures

(LOVE LUTON RUNFEST)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES)
ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Luton Borough Council, the Highway Authority for the said Borough, intends to make the above Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

The Order will come into operation at 8am on 11th October 2026 and cease operation after 1pm on 11th October 2026 or when the Love Luton Runfest has finished. The Order will therefore be in operation during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs, marshals, barriers or cones. The roads will be opened as soon as runners have passed by and it is safe to do so.

The effect of the Order will allow the Council to temporarily close to vehicular traffic the event roads including roads adjoining the event roads listed in the Schedule below. The Order is intended to create a safe window for the staging of the Love Luton Runfest.

Access will be maintained as best as possible to properties where this may be done safely.
