What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC HORSESHOE
CRESCENT, HOLME UPON SPALDING MOOR


Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Horseshoe Crescent, Holme Upon Spalding Moor
starting at the junction of Sober Hill Drive for the
entire length commencing 13 October 2026 until
16 October 2026 between 08.00 hours until 17.00
hours to allow for carriageway maintenance patching.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months,
but it is anticipated that the works will be completed
within four days. There is no alternative route for
traffic affected by this closure. The road will be closed
to all traffic but access will be maintained for residents,
emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
