Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Well Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768043819/21 – Anglian Water Business (National)).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer cleaning works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National). An alternative route is available via Ashwells Road, Crow Green Road, Ongar Road, Ashwells Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hutton Village, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with Hall Green Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2J469M – Openreach).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Hutton Village, Church Lane, Rayleigh Road, Hutton Village and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kingsley Road, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Tennyson Road to its junction with Hall Green Lane a distance of approximately 105m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2026 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2399402-03 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Green Road, Fryerning in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mapletree Lane to its junction with Hardings Lane a distance of approximately 240m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311002WH3CCG5V – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearance works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Childerditch Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MG07986121O2-WHP-AC1 – O2 (UK) Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole works are undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited.
An alternative route is available via A127, A128, The Avenue and Childerditch Lane.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Navestock in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 225m south east of its junction with Bounce Hill for a distance of approximately 170m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th September 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06165699TS – Affinity Water).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water. An alternative route is available via Old Road, Horseman Side, Tan House Lane, Sabines Road, Bounce Hill, Old Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 9th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic &
Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.9) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of road as specified in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.
Access will be maintained for emergency services. Residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
