TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 152384206 : The City of Manchester (Passageway/Goulden Road, Old Moat Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrian traffic on the passageway leading between Goulden Road and Brooklands Avenue. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate footpath reconstruction works.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 28th September 2026 to the 2nd October 2026.
The order shall come into operation on the 28th September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of six months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
