Bear Lane (D5336) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Bear Lane (D5336) Farnham as extends from its junction with (B3228) Woolmead to its junction with the access to the property known as “First Church of Christ Scientist”; (b) Suspend “The Urban District of Farnham (Bear Lane, East Street, and Woolmead Road) (One- Way and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1968” made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects the length of road described in (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (B3228) Woolmead, (B3228) East Street, St Cross Road, Upper South View, and High Park Road. This Order is required to facilitate joint bay excavation works for, or on behalf of Connect It Utilities Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Hindhead Road (A287) and Junction Place (B2131) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Hindhead Road (A287) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5508) Critchmere Hill to its junction with (B2131) Junction Place; (b) Junction Place (B2131) Haselmere as extends from its junction with (A287) Hindhead Road to its junction with (D5511) Lion Lane; (c) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Waverley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as it affects that length of road in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (1) (B2131) Lion Green, (B2131) Wey Hill, (B2131) Lower Street, (A286) High Street, (B2131) Lower Street, (A286) Shepherds Hill, (A286) Midhurst Road, (A286) Bell Road, (A286) Haslemere Road, (A286) Midhurst Road, (A286) Dodsley Lane, (A272) North Street, (A272) Petersfield Road, (A272) London Road, (A3) Portsmouth Road, (A3) Hindhead Tunnel Road, (A333) Hazel Grove, and (A333) Portsmouth Road and (A287) Hindhead Road; (2) (A287) Hindhead Road, (A333) Portsmouth Road, (A333) Hazel Grove, (A3) Hindhead Tunnel Road, (A3) Portsmouth Road, (A272) London Road, (A272) Petersfield Road, (A272) North Street, (A286) Dodsley Lane, (A286) Midhurst Road, (A286) Haslemere Road, (A286) Bell Road, (A286) Midhurst Road, (A286) Shepherds Hill, (B2131) Lower Street, (B2131) Wey Hill, and (B2131) Lion Green. This Order is required to facilitate major maintenance works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 15 days, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained when and if it is safe to do so, access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Woodhill Lane (D118) Frensham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodhill Lane (D118) Frensham as extends from its junction with Summer Hill Lane (D118) to the access for Woodhill Farm. Alternative route – Boundary Road, West End Lane and Summer Hill Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services to facilitate role replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 October 2026 for 1 day, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

East Street (B3228) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of East Street (B3228) Farnham as extends from its junction with Dogflud Way (B3228) to its junction with South Street (A287). Alternative route – B3228 (East Street), B3007 (Hale Road), A325 (Farnborough Road), A31 (Farnham By-Pass), B3228 (West Street) and A287 (The Borough).

This Order is required to enable Connect It Utility Services to facilitate a new electrical supply connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 October 2026 for 3 nights, between the hours of 8.00pm and 4.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained to properties within the closure. Access for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

St James Terrace (D5336) and Stoke Hills (D5336) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of St James Terrace (D5336) and Stoke Hills (D5336) Farnham as extends from its junction with Sumner Road (D5336) to its junction with St James Avenue (D5336).

Alternative route – St James Avenue, B3228 (East Street, clockwise only – Dogflud Way, anti-clockwise only – Woodmead and Bear Lane), A287 (The Borough and Castle Street), Park Row, High Park Road, Beaufort Road and Sumner Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026 for 3 months between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

D5523 Longdene Road, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5523 Longdene Road, Haslemere. 2. Suspend the “Surrey County Council Longdene Road (D5523) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and the “Surrey County Council Longdene Road (D5523) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026” in entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Thames Water to exchange of a boundary box and/or carry out water mains maintenance works and reinstatement in D5523 Longdene Road, between the north-western property boundary of “No.45 Longdene Road”, and the south-western property boundary of “No.47 Longdene Road”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 11:59pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No sole access to any property will be affected. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route: – a) Courts Hill Road, Shepherds Hill, Lower Street. b) Lower Street, Haslemere High Street, Petworth Road, Lower Street, Shepherds Hill and Courts Hill Road.
