THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 42/1, Parish of Penn) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 42/1, from the junction of PEN/FP/42/1 & Penn Road, continuing east to the junction of PEN/FP/42/1 and Finch Lane. The closure is required to allow for 41 metres of duct to be laid on behalf of Open Reach for telecommunication works. The Order will come into operation on 22 September 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
