Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1), 14(2) and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

BEESTON ST. ANDREW – B1150 North Walsham Road from 100m north of its junction with A1270 Broadland Northway for 25m northwards to facilitate new water connection works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 23rd to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). FAKENHAM – Cranmer Court footpath from its joining with Cranmer Court to its joining with Lancaster Avenue to facilitate gas main replacement works from 21st September to 4th October 2026 (may continue until 15th November 2026). FREETHORPE – Lower Green from its junction with Reedham Road for 450m south-eastwards to facilitate replacement of poles and overhead line works on 24th September 2026 (may continue until 5th November 2026). GORLESTON-ON-SEA – Road From Beaufort Way to Woodfarm Lane (also known locally as Hodds Lane) from its junction with Beaufort Way for 40m north-eastwards to facilitate new water main laying works from 21st to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Beaufort Way, Road From Beaufort Way to Woodfarm Lane, Carrel Road, Woodfarm Lane. The works promoter is Essex & Suffolk Water.

GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – Middle Road from its junction with Green Lane North for 65m eastwards to facilitate patching and lining works on 21st September 2026 (may continue until 2nd November 2026). Alternative route is via: Green Lane North, Plumstead Road, Reeves Corner, Broad Lane, Hare Road, Middle Road (Thorpe St. Andrew, Great and Little Plumstead). GREAT WITCHINGHAM – Rabbit Lane from its junction with Hall Road for 30m westwards to facilitate new water connection works from 22nd to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Porters Lane, Norwich Road, A1067 Fakenham Road, Heath Lane. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

GREAT YARMOUTH – King Street from its junction with Regent Road for 40m southwards to facilitate cabling works from 21st to 23rd September 2026 (may continue until 4th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Regent Road, Deneside, Yarmouth Way, King Street. The works promoter is Virgin Media.

HALVERGATE – Wickhampton Road from its junction with The Street for 180m southwards to facilitate footway installation works from 21st September to 16th October 2026 (may continue until 16th April 2027). Alternative route is via: The Street, Mill Road, Church Road, Wickhampton Road (Freethorpe, Halvergate). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HEMPSTEAD – Hempstead FP3 from its joining with Hempstead FP4 for 165m westwards to facilitate footbridge replacement works from 21st to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: The Street, Hempstead Footpath 4. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS – Abbey Road from its junction with Back Street to its junction with West Lane to facilitate gas main replacement works from 21st September to 16th October 2026 (may continue until 16th April 2027). Alternative route is via: Back Street, Blind Lane, West Lane. The works promoter is Cadent.

HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS –

A) U57647 West Lane from its junction with Abbey Road to its junction with New Home Lane and

B) U57228 Blind Lane from its junction with New Home Lane for 85m south-eastwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 21st September to 9th October 2026 (may continue until 20th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Abbey Road, Back Street, Blind Lane. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HOVETON – U19887 Waveney Drive from 95m southwest of its junction with Albion Way for 35m south-westwards to facilitate patching works on 21st September 2026 (may continue until 2nd November 2026). LUDHAM – U19059 Malthouse Lane from 100m northeast of its junction with C405 Catfield Road for 40m north-eastwards to facilitate new electricity supply installation works from 21st to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). FINCHAM – C50 Marham Road from 856m south of its junction with C47 Norwich Road for 168m southwards to facilitate repairs to a burnt road between 07:00 and 17:00 from 24th to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Marham Road, Norwich Road, Lynn Road, The Green, Mill Road, Downham Road, High Street (Shouldham, Stradsett, Fincham, Shouldham Thorpe). GAYTON – U22014 Well Hall Lane from 55m west of its junction with B1153 Grimston Road for 50m westwards to facilitate meter exchange works between 08:00 and 16:00 on 22nd September 2026 (may continue until 3rd November 2026). GRIMSTON AND KING’S LYNN – A) A149 Queen Elizabeth Way from 257m southwest of its junction with U22122 Sandy Lane for 300m south-westwards and B) A149 Queen Elizabeth Way from 557m southwest of its junction with U22122 Sandy Lane for 641m south-westwards and C) A149 Queen Elizabeth Way from 941m southwest of its junction with U22122 Sandy Lane for 300m south-westwards to facilitate drainage works, the Roads A and C will be temporarily subject to a 40mph speed restriction and the Road B will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 21st September to 20th November 2026 (may continue until 20th May 2027). KING’S LYNN – 2F321/10 Footpath Adjacent To 42 Burch Close Leading To Winston Churchill Drive from its junction with U20779 Winston Churchill Drive for 50m south-eastwards to facilitate duct installation works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 21st September 2026 (may continue until 2nd November 2026). Alternative route is via: Corbyn Shaw Road, Burch Close. The works promoter is BT.

UPWELL – C766 Dovecote Road from its junction with Upwell Isle FP7 for 85m southwards to facilitate telegraph pole replacement and cable rehag works between 09:00 and 17:00 from 24th to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Dovecote Road, School Road, St Peters Road, New Road, Townsend Road, Croft Road. The works promoter is BT.

WALPOLE – C1 Walpole Bank from 30m south of its junction with U21078 Folgate Road for 100m northwards to facilitate telegraph pole works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 24th September 2026 (may continue until 5th November 2026). WALPOLE – C782 Church Road from 110m southwest of its junction with U21196 Stickfast Lane for 30m south-westwards to facilitate cats eye replacement works between 19:00 and 07:00 from 15th to 17th October 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). WIGGENHALL ST. GERMANS – A) C8 Fitton Road from 145m north of its junction with U21311 Saint Peters Drove for 310m southwards and B) U21311 Saint Peters Drove from its junction with C8 Fitton Road for 15m westwards to facilitate pole replacement works between 09:00 and 17:00 on 22nd September 2026 (may continue until 3rd November 2026). CROMER – Cliff Drive Footway from its junction with C634 Overstrand Road for 166m north-eastwards to facilitate gas pipe installation works between 08:00 and 18:00 from 14th to 16th September 2026 (may continue until 28th October 2026). CROMER – Davey Hill from its junction with A148 Holt Road to its junction with Half Year Close to facilitate carriageway patching and drainage investigation works from 14th to 16th September 2026 (may continue until 28th October 2026). FELMINGHAM – C275 Stow Heath Road from 330m southwest of its junction with U19106 Suffield Road for 70m south-westwards to facilitate chamber frame and cover replacement works from 15th to 17th September 2026 (may continue until 29th October 2026). FRETTENHAM – Buxton Road from its junction with Church Road for 220m north-westwards to facilitate carriageway patching repair works on 18th September 2026 (may continue until 30th October 2026). GORLESTON-ON-SEA – Burnt Lane from its junction with the Stone Cross roundabout for 20m north-eastwards to facilitate installation of temporary traffic lights in advance of survey digging works. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 4th September 2026 that the road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) from 12th September 2026 (previously 7th to 11th September 2026) (may continue until 24th October 2026). GORLESTON-ON-SEA – Mariners Compass from its junction with Humber Keel for 32m westwards to facilitate manhole repair in carriageway works on 14th September 2026 (but may continue until 26th October 2026). GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – U59278 Green Lane from its junction C832 Cranley Road for 100m northwards to facilitate gas and electrical connection works from 14th to 25th September 2026 (may continue until 6th November 2026). Alternative route is via: A1194 (Broadland Way, Poppy Way), A1270 Broadland Northway, A47, Church Road, Middle Road, Green Lane North, Green Lane (Thorpe St. Andrew (DET), Brundall, Postwick with Witton, Great and Little Plumstead). GREAT YARMOUTH Riverside Road from its junction with Ferry Hill for 335m southwards to facilitate retaining wall construction works to repair and protect the highway from erosion from 14th September to 13th November 2026 (may continue until 13th May 2027).
