NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Local Inquiry will be held by an Inspector appointed for the purpose by the Secretary of State for Transport into his proposal to make an Order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a length of Footpath 24 and Footpath 25 as lies off Edge Lane at Burnhope, in the County of Durham in order to enable development to be carried out as permitted by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government under reference APP/X1355/W/25/3368146.

THE INQUIRY will be held at Lanchester Community Centre, Newbiggen Lane, Lanchester, Durham, DH7 0PB commencing at 10:00am on 06 October 2026.
