Darlington - Temporary Footpath Closure for Construction of a SUDS Pond Outfall

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
LOW CONISCLIFFE FOOTPATH 9, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close:
LOW CONISCLIFFE FOOTPATH 9
from a point approximately 305metres east of its junction with Low Coniscliffe Bridleway 4, eastwards for approximately 180metres
An alternative route will be signed on site.
The Order is necessary to allow construction of an outfall from the SUDS pond.
The maximum duration of the temporary closures under this Order is 6 months commencing from 24th September 2026, it is anticipated that it will be effective for 3 months.
