Neasham Road - Temporary Footway Closure due to Resurfacing Works

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NEASHAM ROAD, MIDDLETON ST GEORGE
Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
NEASHAM ROAD FOOTWAY
From the eastern boundary of 25 Neasham Road westwards to the western boundary of 31 Neasham Road
An alternative route will be signed via Pounteys Close.
The Order is necessary for footway resurfacing works.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 28th September 2026, it is anticipated that it will be effective for 2 weeks.
