B7010 SPRINGHILL AND LEADLOCH ROAD, SHOTTS (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 7 September 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the installation of a new roundabout and drainage works associated with a new housing development) on B7010 Springhill and Leadloch Road, Shotts from the extended east kerbline of Tulloch Road eastwards for a distance of 400m or thereby by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: Vehicles on the west side of the closure on B7010 Springhill Road wishing access to the east side of the closure on B7010 Springhill and Leadloch Road should proceed via B7010 Springhill Road, Stane Road, A71, B715 Headlesscross Road and B7010 Springhill and Leadloch Road.
Vehicles on the east side of the closure on B7010 Springhill and Leadloch Road wishing access to the west side of the closure on B7010 Springhill Road should proceed vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be permitted at all times where applicable.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday 21 September 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday 20 December 2026.
