HENVILLE ROAD AND MALMESBURY PARK PLACE – GAS WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking bays) –

Henville Rd (western side), from a point approx.14m north-east of its junction with Stewart Rd for a distance of approx.66m in a northeasterly direction to outside the boundary of No.55 Malmesbury Park Place – anticipated dates 5 October until 30 October 2026

Malmesbury Park Place (southern side), from a point approx.10m northwest of its junction with Holdenhurst Rd for a distance of approx.67m in a north-westerly direction to outside the boundary of No.17 Malmesbury Park Place – anticipated dates 19 October until 13 November 2026

Parking in bays will be suspended in turn as works are carried out along the roads, with space made available as section of works are completed.

WHY: To facilitate gas mains replacement works by SGN

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
