NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the;
The Gill, Ulverston, from its junction with Mill Street, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 20 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of The Gill, Stanley Street and the U5733.
Duration: From 1st October 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20333)
C5032, Stainton-with-Adgarley, from its junction with Slop Lane, extending in an easterly direction for approx. 40 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of Long Lane, Abbey Road, Park Road, A590, Carley Lane, Horse Close Lane, Church Road and the U5135.
Duration: From 1st October 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20334)

The Order will come into operation on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
