Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405102 Road from junction at Woodville to Little Loiterpin
from outside of the property known as ‘Crookam Farm’ to a point approximately 50 metres Northwards for a total distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach.
The road is expected to be closed between 11:30 and 17:00 on 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C46 Upper Rodley Road from outside of the property
known as ‘The Bungalow’ to outside of the property known as ‘Rosedale’ for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole works on behalf of BT Openreach. The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 on 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the
said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(TIDENHAM PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of B4228 from junction with Miss
Graces’ Lane to Boughcliff House from its junction with Forest Way to outside of the property known as ‘Little Chase’ for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole works on behalf of BT Openreach. The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00 to 17:00 on the 21st September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. (LYDBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405034 The Moorwood from outside the property known
as ‘Moorwood Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Morang’ for a distance of approximately 155 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 24th September 2026 until 18:00hrs on 25th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to
eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (A4136) PARISHES OF LONGHOPE & MITCHELDEAN) (FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named order the effect of which will be to introduce a 50mph speed limit along the A4136 (known in part as Monmouth Road and in part as Gloucester Road). The extents of the 50mph speed limit are set out within the Schedule below.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C25 Road from Junction with Branches
Road to Junction with A48, from its junction with the A48 to outside the ‘Wellness Retreat’ for a distance of approximately 479 metres.
The reason for the said closure and restriction is for drainage works. There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 21st September 2026 until 26th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath RLY 44 (Part of the Wye Valley Walk) & WBK 4a (Part of the Wye Valley Walk) as described in the Schedule below.

Public Footpath RLY 44 (Part of the Wye Valley Walk) from its junction with RLY 1 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 67 metres to its junction with Public Footpath WBk 4a Public Footpath WBK 4a (Part of the Wye Valley Walk) from its junction with Public Footpath RLY 44 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 45 metres to its junction with WBK 4 The said Footpaths fall within the Parish of Lydbrook Forest of Dean District and the Parish of Goodrich & Welsh Bicknor, Herefordshire County. The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of the public due to the bridge being unsafe.
The Footpaths were originally closed for 21 days, by Emergency Notice from 15th April 2026, and subsequently a Temporary Closure Order was made.
This said Order came into force on the 6th May 2026 and was expected to end on the 15th October 2026, being a period of six months from the date of the original Notice, which was 15th April 2026. However, the works have still not been completed and the Secretary of State has granted an extension until 15th April 2028 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.
