THE CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON
(STATIC RESTRICTIONS) (WEST)
(AMENDMENT 9) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL made the above Order on 7th September 2026, the effects of which will be:
1. To change the restrictions applying to the parking places in Sandown Road from the existing Permit holders / 2 hours limited waiting (no return within 2 hours) to Permit holders only. The restricted hours will remain as Monday - Saturday: 8am – 6pm.
2. To change the restrictions applying to the parking places in Anglesea Road, Medina Road and Sydney Road, from the existing Permit holders / 2 hours limited waiting (no return within 2 hours) to Permit holders / 2 hours limited waiting (no return to the same street on the same day). The restricted hours will remain as Monday - Saturday: 8am – 6pm.
This Order will come into operation on 12th September 2026.
Copies of the Order, relevant map and statement of reasons can be viewed on the Councils website: https://transport.southampton.gov.uk/TRO or may be inspected Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm at Gateway in the Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
