DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn cynnal gwaith gosod pyst ar ran BT Openreach.

Cau Ffordd Dros Dro
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau’r rhannau canlynol o’r ffyrdd:- 

• Pant-y-Brad, o ochr ddeheuol ei chyffordd ag Y Goedlan, tua’r de-ddwyrain am bellter o 60 metr.

• Y Ffordd Fynediad i mewn i Ysgol Gynradd Trefy- Rhyg, o’i chyffordd â Phant-y-Brad, tua’r deorllewin am bellter o 45 metr.

Ewch ar hyd Pant-y-brad, Ffordd Llantrisant (Castellau), Ffordd Fynediad Parc Busnes Llantrisant, yr A4119, Stryd Elwyn, Heol Cwm Elái, Heol Penygarreg, Teras Tylcha Wen, Stryd y Felin, Y Stryd Fawr, Heol Pretoria a Ffordd Llantrisant (Tonyrefail)

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate poling works on behalf of BT Openreach.

Temporary Road Closure
The effect of the Order will be to close the following lengths of road:-
• Pant-y-Brad, from the southern side of its junction with the Avenue, south-eastwards for a distance of 60 metres.

• The Access Road into Tref-y-Rhyd Primary School, from its junction with Pant-y-Brad, southwestwards for a distance of 45 metres.

Alternative Route
Available via Pantybrad, Llantrisant Road (Castellau), Llantrisant Business Parc Access Road, A4119, Elwyn Street, Ely Valley Road, Penygarreg Road, Tylcha Wen Terrace, Mill Street, High Street, Pretoria Road and Llantrisant Road (Tonyrefail)

Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency services, buses, coaches or public transportation. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and to premises.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Daytime closures 8am – 5pm 6th October – 8th October 2026
