TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.

1. The effect of the Order will be to close the roads listed in Schedule 1.

2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for Highway Improvement Scheme.

3. The alternative route will be as listed in Schedule 1.

4. The Order will come into force on 28th September 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be completed by 4th December 2026.
