SCHEME (CPMS)) (AMENDMENT) TRAFFIC ORDER 20-
NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 33, 35, 45, 46 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed order will be to amend the City of Sunderland (University of Sunderland City Campus and Millfield Area Community Parking Management Scheme (CPMS)) Traffic Order 2019 by (i) Introducing three new permit holders parking areas with permit reference ‘M5’ operating Monday-Saturday 11am-12pm and 3pm-4pm along (a) Matamba Terrace East Back, Millfield, Sunderland from its intersection with the extended party property boundary of 4 & 5 Matamba Terrace, to its northern extent. (b) Saint Marks Terrace, Sunderland for its entire length. (c) Unnamed Road linking Matamba Terrace and Saint Marks Terrace, Sunderland from a point 20.4 metres west of its intersection with the western highway boundary of Saint Marks Terrace, to its eastern extent. (ii) Removing the existing no waiting Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm restriction on Saint Marks Terrace, Millfield, Sunderland, the north-east side from a point 11.3 metres north-west of the intersection between its north-eastern highway boundary and the extended party property boundary of 1 & 2 Matamba Terrace, to its north-western extent. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to proceed to make the Order. Objections to and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to E.Waugh, Assistant Director of Law and Governance at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA or via email at:
