What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Mill Lane (Part), Broughton Gifford; from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 260m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via Mill Lane (unaffected length) – B3107 – Broughton Road – The Green – The Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 October 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 4 days. B) A3098 (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Honey Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge and associated works. Alternative route via A3098 (unaffected length) – A36 – A350 – A3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 October 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. C) The Dene (Part), Warminster; from its property known as No.44 The Dene to its property known as No.46 The Dene to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. D) Meadowfield (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its property known as No.15 Meadowfield to its property known as No.19 Meadowfield to enable Openreach to carry out ducting and associated works. Alternative route via Prospect Square (unaffected length) – Bratton Road – Prospect Square (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. This Order will come into operation on 13 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 1 night and then again on 20 September 2026 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. G) C10 (Part), Stockton; from its property known as The Glebe to its property known as Yew Tree Cottage to enable MJ Abbott Ltd to carry out installation of 90mm and 63mm diameter water main via directional drill and associated works. Alternative route via C10 (unaffected length) – Station Road – A36 – A303 and vice versa. H) A350 (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Fore Street.

I) Alfred Street (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Bitham Mill to its junction with Market Place to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out sewer cleaning and associated works. Alternative route H via A350 (unaffected length) – A36 – A361 – C234 – C227 – A363 – A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route I via B3098 – Bitham Park – A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 1 day and then again on 27 September 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. J) B3105 (Part), Trowbridge and West Ashton; from its roundabout junction with Leap Gate for a distance of approximately 280m in a south easterly direction to enable Hope & Clay Construction Ltd to carry out S50 & S278 works for new site entrance including new island, construction and final surfacing. Alternative route via B3105 (unaffected length) – A350 – A363 – A361 – C49 and vice versa. K) Ramscliff, West Lavington; from its junction with Stibb Hill for its entire length to enable Openreach to carry out install 1 new box and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 15 September 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Openreach on 08000859194. Orders A) to K) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footway off King Street, Warminster; from its property known as No.17 King Street to its property known as No.10 Kings Court to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main and associated works. Alternative route via King Street – Kings Court and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and the closure will be required until 25 September 2026. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road:

A) Westlands Lane (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with B3353 for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction.

B) B3353 (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Top Lane for a distance of approximately 350m in a northerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out ducting and other associated works. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restrictions will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and will be required until 18 September 2026. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
