Brighton & Hove - Proposed Changes to Parking & Waiting Restrictions

BRIGHTON & HOVE SEAFRONT (VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS) CONSOLIDATION

ORDER 2024 AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 202 (TRO-18-2026)**

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (‘the Council’) proposes to make the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if it comes into force will make the following changes:

In Dukes Mound, the existing single yellow line restrictions will be removed and replaced with either double yellow lines or paid parking bays operating Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 8.00pm.

On Madeira Drive, a section of paid coach parking will be converted to paid parking bays operating Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 8.00pm. In addition, the single yellow line restriction will be amended to operate Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 8.00pm.

The parking tariff on the section of Madeira Drive east of Arch 87, and in New Steine, will be changed from a seasonal tariff to an all-year tariff.
