(DOWNHAM MARKET, VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) AND SCHOOL KEEP CLEARWAY ORDERS 202X
The Norfolk County Council propose to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The Norfolk County Council (Downham Market, Various Roads)
(Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 202X
The effect of this Order will be to:
1. Prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading on the following lengths of road:

| U23170 Civray Avenue (North Side) | From its junction with the U23081 Hillcrest westwards for a distance of 50 metres. |
| U23081 Hillcrest (East Side) | From a point 26 metres south of the centreline of its junction with the U23168 Sandringham Drive northwards for a distance of 291 metres. |
| U23081 Hillcrest (West Side) | From a point 99 metres north of the centreline of its junction with the U23168 Sandringham Drive northwards for a distance of 14 metres. |
| U23081 Hillcrest (North/East Side) | From the centreline of its junction with the U23170 Civray Avenue northwards for a distance of 23 metres, then eastwards for a distance of 5 metres. |
| U23638 Hogarth Road (South Side) | From its junction with the U23081 Hillcrest eastwards for a distance of 31 metres. |
| U23638 Hogarth Road (North Side) | From its junction with the U23081 Hillcrest eastwards for a distance of 18 metres. |
| U23169 Jubilee Close | From its junction with the U23168/20 Sandringham Drive westwards for its entire length, including turning head. |
| U23168/10 Sandringham Drive | From a point 10 metres east of its junction with the U23081 Hillcrest westwards for a distance of 56 metres. |
| U23168/20 Sandringham Drive | From a point 42 metres south of the centrepoint of its junction with the U23168/10 Sandringham Drive northwards, then westwards for its entire length (158 metres), including turning head. |
2. The restrictions will only apply between 08:00 to 09:00 and 14:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday between the 1st September and 31st July each calendar year.
The Norfolk County Council (Downham Market, Hillcrest) (School Keep Clearway) Order 202X
The effect of this Order will be to:
3. Introduce a school keep clearway as defined by Part 6 of Schedule 7 of The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 and the effect of this being to prohibit vehicles from stopping or waiting along the following length of road:

4. The restriction will only apply between 08:00 to 09:00 and 14:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday between the 1st September and 31st July each calendar year.

Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Borough Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 1EX during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
Any objections and representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for this proposal must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 6th October 2026. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk.
