ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Taylor Avenue, Kew.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Taylor Avenue, Kew.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Taylor Avenue, Kew from the junction with Mortlake Road A205 to outside number 4 Taylor Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect 21 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 September to 22 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Taylor Avenue, Attwood Avenue, Pensford Avenue High Park Road, Mortlake Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Closure, Section of The Thames Towpath, Teddington

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Environment Agency works taking place at Teddington Lock, they intend to make a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary closures of the Thames Towpath between the base of Teddington Lock Footbridge and the river end of The Lock access road, adjacent to the east corner of Teddington Lock.

2. Whilst the works take place the closure will be in place from the base of Teddington Lock Footbridge to the river end of Lock Access Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 and stay in force for 6 months, the closures will be in place on Mondays to Fridays only and likely to apply for four hours at any one time.

4. An alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via a signed diversion around the closed area.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in The Vineyard, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in The Vineyard, Richmond from the junction with The Hermitage to the junction with Lancaster Park.

3. The order will come into effect 14 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 September to 21 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via The Vineyard, Lancaster Park. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

Temporary Road Closure & Parking Restrictions Wensleydale Road, Hampton.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection and sewer works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Wensleydale Road, Hampton.

2. There will be a road closure in place from 21 September 2026 to 25 September 2026. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Wensleydale Road, outside number 6.

3. There will also be parking restrictions in place from the junction with Tudor Road to outside number 6 on both sides of the road from 14 September 2026 to 16 September 2026.

4. The order will come into effect on 14 September 2026. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 September to 25 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
