TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ANSELL ROAD SW17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Ansell Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Ansell Road from the junction with Upper Tooting Road to the junction with Fishponds Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 22 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 27 September 2026.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Dulka Road from the junction with Webb’s Road to the junction with Leathwaite Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – OPENVIEW

1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate highway works (“the works”) they intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce road closures in the roads detailed in Paragraph 2.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Openview, from its junction with Magdalen Road, to its junction with Leckford Road.

3. The Order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. The works are expected to be completed by 24 September 2026.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Magdalen Road, Swaby Road and Leckford Road and vice versa.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
