ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Elfin Grove, Teddington.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Elfin Grove, Teddington.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Elfin Grove, Teddington from a point rear of number 47 Broad Street to the boundary wall of number 1 Elfin Grove.

3. The order will come into effect 21 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 September to 25 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Towpath Closure

Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park,

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Environment Agency works at Teddington Lock they intend to make a temporary Notice, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic and pedestrians on a length of the towpath along the River Thames Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall enter or proceed on the riverside towpath from a point at the north-west corner of Ham street car park westwards for a distance of 30 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 and stay in force for 6 months, the closures will be in place on Mondays to Fridays only and likely to apply for four hours at any one time.

4. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided around the compound.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used, or any person in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used, or any person needing access for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Cycle Lane Suspension, Kew Road, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to Facilitate electrical works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Kew Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, the cycle lane in Kew Road, Kew between numbers 117-193 will be suspended.

3. There will also be parking suspensions in place as indicated by prescribed signs.

4. The order will come into effect on 10 September 2026, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 10 September to 18 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to Facilitate gas works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Castelnau Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place, the cycle lane in Castelnau outside numbers 84-88 will be suspended.

3. The order will come into effect on 14 September 2026, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 14 September to 16 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Queens Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Queens Road, Teddington from the junction with Hampton Road and Broad Street to outside number 30 Queens Road.

3. The order will come into effect 21 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 September to 25 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Broad Street, Park Road, Queens Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in School Road and Seymour Road Hampton Wick.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in School Road Hampton wick at its junction with High Street and in Seymour Road Hampton from its junction with high street to outside number 7 Seymour Road.

3. The order will come into effect 23 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 23 September to 25 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closures are in place an alternative route for traffic will be via:

Seymour Road (Route 1) High Street, Lower Teddington Road, and Vice Versa

Seymour Road (Route 2) High Street, Normansfield Avenue, Lower Teddington Road and Vice Versa

School Road (Route 1) Park Road, Church Grove, St John's Road, Park Road

School Road (Route 2) High Street, Park Road

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
