(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
WADDON ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting installation work on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Waddon Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Waddon Road will be closed between its junctions with Purley Way and Courtney Road.
b) Parking in Waddon Road between its junctions with Purley Way and Courtney Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking and loading at any time will apply.
3. During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be via Purley Way, Mitcham Road, Reeves Corner, Cairo New Road, Rectory Grove, Waddon New Road and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 05 October 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 07 November 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
6. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

BEULAH GROVE & WINDMILL ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate footway works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Beulah Grove and Windmill Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Windmill Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Union Road and Hampton Road.
b) The southeastern (even numbered side) footway of Windmill Road will be closed between its junctions with Union Road and Hampton Road.
c) Beulah Grove will be closed between its junction with Windmill Road and the northwestern boundary of No. 1 Beulah Grove.
d) Parking along the entire length of Beulah Grove on both sides will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking will apply at any time.
e) One-way working in Beulah Grove will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.
3. During the closure, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be diverted to the opposite footway.
• Via A213 Windmill Road, A222 St James’s Road, Hogarth Crescent, and A212 Whitehorse Road.
• Via A212 Whitehorse Road and A222 St James’s Road.
• Via Whitehorse Road, High Street, Brigstock Road, London Road, and St James Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 01 October 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 25 October 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
