STOATS NEST ROAD, COULSDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a bridge inspection, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Stoats Nest Road, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Stoat’s Nest Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junction with Windermere Road and the south-western boundary of No. 31 Stoats Nest Road.
b) The footway of Stoats Nest Road will be closed to pedestrians between its junction with Windermere Road and the south-western boundary of No. 31 Stoats Nest Road.
3. During the closure, vehicular traffic will be diverted as detailed below. Marshalls will supervise pedestrian traffic.
• Via Stoats Nest Road, Coulsdon Road, Marlpit Lane, Farthing Way, Brighton Road and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 10 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 11 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle or person involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
6. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

SURREY STREET, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the replacement of branding/signs for the Vue Cinema using a cherry picker, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Surrey Street.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Surrey Street will be closed between its junction with Church Street and No. 46 Surrey Street.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be as detailed below.
• Via Church Street, Old Palace Road, Church Road, Reeves Corner, Roman Way, Old Town, Pump Pail North, Croydon Flyover, A232, Park Lane, Katherine Street, and High Street, Croydon.
4. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026 at 10pm, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed at 6am on 15 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

CHIPSTEAD VALLEY ROAD, COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Chipstead Valley Road will be closed between its junction with Brighton Road and the common boundary of No. 10 and Nos. 12 to 16 Chipstead Valley Road.
3. During the closure, the diversion routes for vehicles will be as detailed below.
• Via Lion Green Road and Brighton Road.
• Via Brighton Road, Malcom Road, and Woodcote Grove Road.
• Via The Avenue and Woodcote Grove Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 28 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 02 October 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
(c) a vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate desilting and cabling works on behalf of Openreach, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Kenley Lane and Hermitage Road, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Kenley Lane will be closed between its junction with Welcomes Road and the southern boundary of No. 40 Kenley Lane.
b) Hermitage Road (the southernmost arm, fronting property Nos. 1 to 53, and 6 to 60 Hermitage Road) will be closed between its junction with Kenley Lane and a point 25 metres south of that junction.
3. During the closures, access for residents will be maintained whenever possible.
4. The Order will come into operation on 26 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 28 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

LONDON ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate redundant water supply disconnection work, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in London Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) The cycle lanes on both sides of London Road between its junction with Whitehall Road and the southern boundary of No. 727 London Road will be closed.
b) The western (odd-numbered side) footway opposite No. 728 London Road will be closed.
3. During the works, cyclists will be diverted into the main carriageway. Pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 26 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 27 September 2026, with back-up dates of 03 and 04 October 2026 if the works are delayed. The Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said work.
